What are Baltic amber's healing properties?

What research has been done on Baltic amber?
A Nobel Prize-winning chemistry expert, Robert Koch, analysed succinic acid in 1886, the active ingredient in Baltic amber. His conclusion was that the acid strengthened our immune systems and served as a healing agent for humans.
Are the necklaces made of real amber?
We use only authentic Baltic amber in our necklaces. In addition, each necklace comes with a certificate of authenticity ensuring the quality of the Baltic amber.
What is the clasp made from?
Currently, we only offer amber teething necklaces with amber-coloured screw clasps.
How does the necklace work?
The Health Benefits of Wearing Amber are numerous. A small amount of succinic acid is present on the surface of Baltic amber. By wearing the necklace, your baby’s body heat warms up the amber beads, causing succinic acid to be released. They can then benefit from the anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties of succinic acid by absorbing it into their skin
Will the necklace get rid of my baby’s teething pain completely?
There is no doubt that the amber teething necklace significantly mitigates the discomfort and pain associated with teething (including drooling, sore gums, restlessness, etc.). However, the necklace should not be considered a miracle cure.
Are any of the materials toxic?
Not at all. Amber is an organic compound that is completely nontoxic and all-natural.

Baltic amber comes from the Baltic region, specifically Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania along its east coast.
Is the necklace safe to wear?
It is safe to wear an amber teething necklace. Non-toxic materials are used. You should only allow your baby to wear the necklace when they are awake and under your supervision. Amber beads should not be chewed by your child.
Do different coloured amber necklaces have different healing properties?
When it comes to the colour of Amber, there is no therapeutic difference. Choose the colour that you like!
Do the amber teething necklaces come in different sizes?
Yes, we have 2 sizes, 32cm and 38cm. We also have bracelets that are 14cm and 16cm. These can also be worn as anklets.
What are the care instructions of the necklace?
Be sure to remove the necklace from your little one before bath time so that it does not get wet. Keeping the necklace clean is as simple as wiping the beads with a soft cloth dampened with warm water. If you wish to polish the necklace, dab a dab of olive oil on a soft cloth and wipe it on the beads, wiping away any excess oil as you go. Amber is a relatively soft gemstone, so it can easily be scratched. When cleaning or polishing the necklace, it is important to use the right materials.
When should my baby wear an amber teething necklace?
To receive the full benefits of the necklace, you should allow your child to wear it as often as possible. Ensure that you supervise them while they wear the necklace and that they are awake when they wear it.
At what age should my child start to wear the amber teething necklace?
Teething pain can be relieved by the necklace when a child is three months to three years old, as the aforementioned ages are around the beginning and end of the teething process.
Can my baby wear the necklace while they’re asleep or napping?
To prevent strangulation, do not let your child wear the necklace while they are sleeping.
Can my baby chew or suck on the amber teething products?
It is strongly recommended that you do not let your baby chew on the amber beads in order to prevent a choking incident. As the necklace is extremely light, most children forget they’re wearing it after putting it on for the first time.
Can my child wear a amber teething necklace if they are not teething?
Yes, of course! Your child should continue wearing the necklace as Amber is said to relieve many other ailments, including growing pains, asthma, and eczema.
